The annual Sidewalk Arts Festival features a chalk drawing competition on the
sidewalks of Forsyth Park. Drawing competition entries will be judged and
awarded prizes. The event also includes food, children's and youth areas for
young artists, as well as music throughout the day. Admission is free and
open to the public. The chalk competition features categories for students,
alumni and prospective students. Throughout the weekend, special events are
offered for alumni, prospective students and families of current SCAD students.
